Brighton Resort turns 75 years young this Friday, on January 27th.  Brighton opened for business in 1936, when the West was still wild, a decade more closely tied to mining gold and silver than mining deep pow.  While Brighton’s history is more storied and deep than most any other ski resort in North America, visit today, and it’s obvious that Brighton has had no problem at all in keeping up with the times.  Brighton’s demeanor is anything but old as Utah’s youth have claimed Brighton as their own.  Don’t believe it, look around and find a canvas of brightly colored skiers and boarders owning one of Brighton’s four terrain parks or launching switch off of Millicent’s many natural features.

Young and old, oversized coat wearing jibbers and telemarking hippies are wanted to ring in Brighton’s 75th Bday Bash tomorrow, Friday, January 27th.  Receive 2 adult Twilight (12:30-9:00p) passes for $75.  Warm up and hang out by the bonfire, roast some s’mores or chill out and relax by the outdoor ice lounge.  Fireworks will begin shortly after dusk.

Here are all the party details.
