Cycle enthusiasts, here's your opportunity to be part of America’s Toughest Stage Race August 6-11, 2013. This is your chance to be part of a professional cycling race entourage where you are responsible for managing points on the course. And new this year, the Tour of Utah starts in the red rock of southern Utah before finishing in the Wasatch mountains to the north.

Position
Traveling Course Marshals

Objective  
Searching for volunteers who are EXCITED to participate in the Tour of Utah, as a Traveling Course Marshal.   Positions play an integral role in providing course safety, while being able to watch this amazing professional cycling event first hand.

Key areas of responsibility
Traveling course marshal - requires the ability to travel as part of the race entourage for all stages of the bike race. Each course marshal would be responsible for managing a designated point on the course to ensure rider and spectator safety at all times while at their post. Course marshals travel as a team in event vans, marshaling the route prior to and during the race action.

Commitment
• Event dates are August 6-11, 2013
• Report to Cedar City, UT on Monday, August 5th.  Final event date, Sunday, August 11th
• Tour of Utah to provide transportation to Cedar City, night hotel accommodations (will share with appropriate roommate, uniform package and daily per diem).

• Able to be outdoors
