Canyons Sports Free Avalanche Awareness Classes and BREW*

A critical need exists for basic avalanche education for
all ski and snowboarders in Utah.

Just as students in Hawaii learn about the dangers of rip
tides and shore breaks at an early age, snow sports enthusiasts in Utah need to
learn about snow safety and avalanches.
The rising number of avalanche victims have demonstrated an obvious need
for basic avalanche education.

“Know Before You
Go”

Thanks for posting the FREE AVALANCHE AWARENESS CLASSES that Canyon Sports gave in the last 2 weeks. I helped promote the one @ Canyon Sports/ OGDEN on Riverdale Road. 45 people showed up as well as over 8 CS employees, on their own time.
As a result, Canyon Sports/ Ogden is hoping to give it again in late JAN or early FEB. It is important that people know about FREE AVALANCHE AWARENESS CLASSES.
For more INFO on the next FREE AVALANCHE AWARENESS CLASS @ CS/ Ogden contact MGR:

Thanks,
Eleanor Thompson
